In 2009, I worked as assistant director to Dr. Mahmoud El Lozy for Tawfiq El Hakim’s Al- Liss which was on at the Malak Gabr Theatre at the American University in Cairo. The play is a classic drama and commentary on marriage and class-relations in Egypt.
